Price To Be St. Margaret’s Visiting Professor
The Rev. Sarah Kye Price, PhD (MDiv ’18), will serve as the St. Margaret’s Visiting Professor of Women in Ministry during two on-site residences in the first half of 2022. Price is associate dean for faculty development and professor in the School of Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University and an alum of CDSP’s low-residence program. She has also taught Pastoral Care with Marginalized Communities in CDSP’s Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership.
In her first visit to campus Feb. 20 through March 8, Price will participate in community and worship life, attend faculty gatherings, and give guest presentation in CDSP courses. She will also work to build relationships between CDSP and leaders in the UC Berkeley School for Social Welfare.
When she returns to campus in June, Price will continue meeting with faculty and students to explore connections between social work and both parish and community ministry. She will also teach an MDiv elective course, Social Work and Spiritual Care, as part of the June Intensive session.
Welcome, Dr. Price!
