Class of 2012, CDSP

Degrees and certificates were awarded at the 118th Commencement of Church Divinity School of the Pacific on Friday, May 18, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret's Courtyard on campus.

The ceremonies included a celebration of the Holy Eucharist. The Rt. Rev. Mark Hollingsworth Jr. '81, Bishop of Ohio, offered the homily and the Most Rev. Dr. Paul Kwong '82, Archbishop of the Hong Kong Sheng Kung Hui Province and Bishop of Hong Kong Island, was the presider. Both are alumni and members of the CDSP Board of Trustees. Also attending were two other bishops, The Rt. Rev. Barry Beisner, Bishop of Northern California, and the Rt. Rev. Mark Andrus, Bishop of California,

During the ceremony, five Certificate of Anglican Studies, nine Master of Divinity, three Master of Arts and one Doctor of Ministry degree were conferred.

Walter E Smith B. of Panama and Margaret (Margo) Louise Webster, who retires as CDSP registrar June 30, 2012, received honorary degrees of Doctor of Humane Letters.

The celebration concluded with a reception in Denniston Commons.
