CALL Online Courses
The Center for Anglican Learning and Leadership’s (CALL) online courses are offered throughout the year and are designed so that you can participate at your own pace and at your own time.
Each course is seven weeks, each week a separate interactive lesson featuring discussion with your classmates and instructor. Continuing Education Units are offered at the rate of 2 CEUs per course. Students from across The Episcopal Church and beyond join experienced online instructors in creating a classroom environment of respect and mutual learning.

For Previously Registered Students: Use the same SONIS login to register, not your Moodle login.
For New Local Formation Students: If you are new to the program, your local formation coordinator will contact us and we will create your account and notify you. Please do not create another another account.

Constitution & Canons: An Overview – Online Video Course
This online class will provide a general introduction to the function of canonical law in the Episcopal Church, including the historical roots and scope of law in the church as well as the larger legal context of the church institution.
Successfully completing each of the four modules will fulfill the requirements in Title III, Canon 6, Section 5.g (for those pursuing ordination to the diaconate) and Title III, Canon 8, Section 5.h (for those pursuing ordination to the priesthood) for training in
- “civil requirements for reporting…evidence of abuse.”
- “the Constitution and Canons of The Episcopal Church, particularly Title IV thereof”
Materials recommended: Constitution and Canons, 2018 edition available in print from Church Publishing or on line on The Episcopal Church website.
