M.Div. Student Plummer Gives Paper at Tri-History Conference

“The Patron Saint to the Navajo of the San Juan”

In June, third-year M.Div. student Cathlena Plummer presented a paper, “The Patron Saint to the Navajo of the San Juan,” at the Tri-History Conference in San Antonio, Texas.

The conference, co-sponsored by the Episcopal Women’s History Project (EWHP), the Historical Society of the Episcopal Church (HSEC) and the National Episcopal Historians and Archivists (NEHA), is held annually. Plummer’s paper discussed Fr. Harold Baxter Liebler, an Episcopal priest who lived and worked among the Navajo from 1943 until his death in 1982.
