CDSP is expanding its search for a faculty member who will serve as dean of chapel and teach homiletics, the Rev. Dr. Ruth Meyers, academic dean, announced.

“CDSP’s faculty is committed to finding a colleague who can articulate a compelling theology of proclamation and share our strong commitment to our students and to our curricular focus on mission, discipleship and evangelism,” said Meyers. “We hope, too, to find a colleague who will be drawn to our culture of enthusiastic innovation, respect for diversity and deep collegiality.”

The seminary seeks candidates with an earned Ph.D. or D.Min. in either homiletics or liturgics for a tenure-eligible appointment at the assistant or associate professor level for five years beginning in July 2018.

A previous search, open only to candidates with a Ph.D. seeking assistant professor positions, ended in January.

Interested candidates can review the position description online.
