Thu, Apr 10, 2014 7:30 pm

Sponsored by the Society of the Celtic Cross

Tucson Common Room, CDSP campus

2014 Celtic Cross Mission Grants will be presented at the forum. A team of students has reviewed applications, worked to further define projects for funding, and developed a plan to expand our reach with relationships around the world. Recommendations for grant awards, totaling more than $20,000, will be presented by Celtic Cross, for approval by the CDSP community.

Join our forum guests for a conversation on mission:

  • The Rev. Tommy Dillon, rector, St. Aidan’s Episcopal Church
  • The Rev. Eric Metoyer, associate for congregational ministries, Diocese of California
  • Kathleen Piraino, executive director, Episcopal Charities
  • The Rev. Cn. Stefani Schatz, canon to the ordinary, Diocese of California

What does it mean to be in mission in a city? Come and join a conversation about innovative and sustainable approaches to mission, opportunities to engage during seminary, and ways to can carry this movement forward after graduation. When you arrive in a new place, how will you get started? Bring your questions, your ideas, your passion for the Missio Dei.

This forum is a part of CDSP’s weekly Community Night.

Join us for Eucharist at 5:45 in All Saints Chapel and dinner ($12 – please RSVP to the CDSP Front Office at 510-204-0700)
