Theological Education in the Future: Addressing Challenges and Opportunities of Change
A book Forum on Manifesto for Learning by Donn Morgan
Join James Donahue, President of the Graduate Theological Union and Mark Richardson, President and Dean of Church Divinity School of the Pacific as they think on the future of theological education for their respective institutions as well as church and society at large. The occasion for this event is a book forum for Manifesto for Learning: The Mission of the Church in Times of Change by Donn Morgan, Professor of Old Testament at CDSP. After a brief summary of the rhyme and reason and content of the book, Presidents Donahue and Richardson will share some of their own visions for the future as they respond to Manifesto for Learning.
There will be ample time for discussion! Please come ready to hear some new ideas, sharing your own experiences, visions and hopes about education and the future of the church.
