Parsons Hall provides single rooms with basic furniture. Bathrooms are shared, as are the coin laundry and kitchen facilities. Room and Board for 2009-2010 is $3,800 per semester.

A limited number of apartments are available in two buildings located near the campus. Rents for the 2009-2010 academic year range from $920-$1,550 per month, depending upon size.

A "Moving and Thriving Guide" is available to students from the Dean of Students Office. The PDF will be emailed upon request to from jwood@cdsp.edu.

Housing applications can be downloaded here.

    Meals

Parsons Hall residents are required to participate in the Board Plan of Denniston Refectory. The Board Plan includes three meals a day, Monday through Friday when classes are in session. On weekends during the academic year, certain holidays and breaks excepted, the Refectory serves lunch and dinner within slightly reduced hours. It is also closed during January Intersession and summer break.

People who do not live in Parsons Hall on the Board Plan may purchase a meal ticket. Meal tickets cost $125.00 for 25 meals and are valid during the semester for which they're issued.

    Parking

Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the small campus lot. The parking fee is $150 per semester for the academic year, 2009-2010.

    Child Care

At present, neither CDSP nor any of the member GTU schools provide daily child care services. However, there are resource centers throughout the Bay Area that give referrals to private and public pre-schools and child care providers. Two excellent reference services are: http://parents.berkeley.edu/ (The Berkeley Parents Network) and http://www.bananasinc.org (Bananas, Inc.)

Children are always welcome at Community Night and we hope they will join these Thursday night liturgies and festivities. We offer a catechetical program for young children during the Liturgy of the Word for those who would like it. "Godly Catechesis" is also a learning opportunity for seminarians and others who seek additional exposure to the faith life of the young child. There is also a children's space in the chapel.
