Church Divinity School of the Pacific is in the process of preparing for its regularly scheduled 10-year reaccreditation by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS). An integral part of the process is a thorough and systematic self-evaluation that will be presented as a substantial report to the ATS Commission on Accrediting. CDSP will welcome an evaluation committee to campus March 31-April 4, 2014. In preparation for the reaccreditation visit, CDSP solicits written feedback on its qualifications for reaccreditation from all constituencies—students, alumni, donors, clergy and laity of the Episcopal Church. All comments will be made available to the evaluation team during their 2014 visit. You may send us your thoughts through the link below.
Accreditation through ATS assures that CDSP’s degree programs meet the qualifications for high quality theological education through a process of self- and peer-review. It also demonstrates the seminary’s commitment to these standards and assures that our degrees and certificates have general recognition. Details regarding the reaccreditation process can be found at http://www.ats.edu/accrediting/overview-accrediting.
